Country #27 is growing on me | Bucharest, Romania

Hello [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]!

Greetings from country #27, Romania ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ด!

Multiple people have asked me why am visiting + what does the main city of Bucharest have to offer? My answer has been simple, let me find out!

I find myself doing less research of โ€œmust doโ€™sโ€ before I arrive to a city, to allow the people, weather + my natural curiosity lead me in a direction of what I should explore. Iโ€™ve had the chance to learn about the history on my free walking tour, the inside of the Parliament building (thanks to joining National Kids Day), relaxing in the green, lush parks, trying Papanaศ™i the Romanian โ€œdoughnutโ€ while exploring different neighbourhoods + coffee shops.

The language of English is incredible high, the transportation is easy to use, however you will be charged for a ticket every time you tap your card (vs. having a time limit) + the weather has been FULL summer. Hovering over 30C has really made me feel like weโ€™re into the next seasonโ€ฆ + I donโ€™t think Iโ€™m ready to melt (sweat) yet ๐Ÿ˜…

I canโ€™t say thereโ€™s anything in particular that has impressed me in Bucharest, + overall itโ€™s not a city I could see myself settling in, unless the car lanes turned into bike lines, then maybe I could be convinced! Iโ€™ll be in Romania for about 10 more day if thereโ€™s anything about the country you want me to discover send me an DM!

Ciao for now,

Anna
