Hi I’m Anna!

I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada spending most of my childhood there except for three years living in The Hague, Netherlands, this was my first spark to travel + being immersed in a different culture at just 5 years old. Later in life I moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada to attend Simon Fraser University + ended up staying 6 years after finishing my BFA. Fast forward to the end of the COVID-19 pandemic + like many, I felt a change was needed. A change to reignite the spark I felt as a child in Holland.

As a traveller, I’m a calculated risk taker who loves immersing herself in a local culture. I love the challenge of everyday life in a new environment + the spontaneity, small or big a new location can bring. Finding breakfast every morning can be an adventure in itself! I’m a YouTuber, Travel Content Creator + have been a freelancer since 2017.

I love sharing strategic budget travels, while indulging with your savings in some of the finer things in a new town (let’s be honest it’s usually food). I believe you don’t have to be cliff jumping or partying every night to really feel a spark or pinch-me moment immersed in a new environment.

My travel vlogs include honest reviews, travel tips, how to venture as a solo female, ways I stayed organized while on the move finding time to enjoy the moments living a non 9-5 lifestyle.
