๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Luxury buses + Maximizing Airbnbs in Vienna

This country gives me nostalgic familiarities of my German roots! Iโ€™m in the city of Vienna here to join Canadian friends, as they attend a dance intensive. It's been a treat to be around a group of Canadians after 10 months away from people who say โ€œehโ€!

To get to Vienna, I took a bus from Budapest

  1. I had a FlixBus credit to use up

  2. It was cheaper than the train for the same amount of time

Usually I book with FlixBus but then get a partner operating companyโ€ฆthis time I got a real FlixBus + it was even a double-decker! A really comfortable three hour ride (although no rest stops).

I wish I could list all the amazing things about Vienna but unfortunately the last 8 weeks of busy travel caught up to me in the form of a respiratory infection of sorts + your girl is doing a round of antibiotics ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ.

I did manage to do a walking tour on Tuesday, through my favourite platform GuruWalks + a talented tour guide Anna! Providing me with a rich history lesson of Austria + a quick overview of Vienna.

Otherwise, Iโ€™ve been chilling at my shared Airbnb, which is thankfully spacious + cool trying to refill my energy batteries for a big adventure Iโ€™m going on next week!

Donโ€™t forget Your Travel Friend Community is closing on August 15! Get yourself in there + invite a friend while youโ€™re at it!

Ciao for now,

Anna

GET YOUR INTernationaL DATA

I joined 3 Canadian friends from back home here in Vienna + TWO of them were about to activate their Canadian phone plans internationally for $14/day, girls NO!

An eSIM is a non physical sim that exists in your phone. You purchase a plan, activate the eSIM + BAM you have data from multiple networks working for you on your holiday.

My favourite is the Europe regional eSIM because it means when I switch countries I donโ€™t have to worry about getting a new phone plan, it automatically starts working in the new country.

I canโ€™t stress it enough how money saving, time saving, + logistics headache saving an eSIM will be for your travels (including trips to the US for my Canadian readers!)

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

The Alaska cruise is officially underway after getting to Vancouver, exploring the vessel + all the amenities the boat has to offer it was time to enjoy a day at sea as we make our way from Vancouver, BC to our first stop Juneau, AK. There were plenty of activities to choose from, areas to go on the boat and delicious food to keep us entertained during a day of voyage.
